01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Casey's in Sheffield, Illinois, is a beloved Midwest staple that masterfully blends the convenience of a gas station with the warmth and quality of a local pizza takeaway and convenience store. Located at 119 W Railroad St, this multifunctional stop is more than just a place to fuel your car – it’s a hub for satisfying hunger, quenching thirst, and grabbing everyday essentials with ease.

What truly sets Casey's apart is its renowned pizza, a local favorite praised repeatedly by customers. Whether you crave the classic pepperoni, the sweet and savory Hawaiian, or something a bit bolder like the pepperoni with bacon, Casey's delivers a perfectly baked, flavor-packed pie each time. As Cross Buzanis notes, “The food? Amazing... I go in here for pizza anytime I take a little trip out to Sheffield, and it’s always so good.” The pizzas strike a delightful balance — crispy on the outside, chewy and flavorful within — evoking that satisfying aroma that instantly whets the appetite.

Beyond pizza, Casey's convenience store offerings include a thoughtfully curated lineup of snacks and beverages that cater to all tastes. Their Casey's Jalapeno Kettle Chips offer a spicy crunch that pairs perfectly with a cold drink, while healthier options like Casey’s Sunshine Day cold-pressed juices provide refreshing bursts of 100% fruit and vegetable goodness. For those with a sweet tooth, Nabisco Nutter Butter King peanut butter cookies offer a nostalgic delight, combining creamy peanut butter filling with crispy wafers designed to resemble peanut shells. Notably, the Liquid Death Billionaire Iced Tea stands out for its bold tea flavor with a fraction of the sugar and calories, proving that Casey’s keeps up with modern, health-conscious options.

Adding to the charm of this location is the genuine friendliness and dedication of staff like Stacie, who create a welcoming atmosphere in an otherwise functional space. Bubble Tea’s review captures this sentiment perfectly: “A very lovely shop! It’s kept clean, and Stacie is super friendly! I’m very grateful for the service!” This sense of community and attentiveness makes every visit more than just a quick stop – it feels personal.

Casey’s also functions as a vital local resource, open when few other food establishments are operating nearby. Michael Savoie appreciates their commitment, saying, “They were the only open food establishment in a 20 mile radius and they managed to help get people fed.” This dedication during off-hours gives Casey’s a dependable reputation, essential for travelers, commuters, and locals alike.

Combining quality food, beverages, daily essentials, and fuel services in one spot, Casey's at Sheffield is more than a convenience store; it is a community cornerstone that consistently impresses with both its products and people. Whether you’re filling up your tank, grabbing a quick meal, or stocking up on snacks and drinks, Casey’s makes every visit satisfyingly simple and warmly welcoming.

People just like to complain istg. The food? amazing, the workers? Maybe a little tired or pre occupied but still very nice and knowledgeable about the store. I go in here for pizza anytime I take a little trip out to sheffield and its always so good. The Hawaiian is good, the pepperoni one is really good, and just today I got a pepperoni with bacon that was unbelievable. Caseys should not have such good pizza for being a gas station but they do

Known for pizza. They are a midwestern convenience store. That sell gasoline and diesel. Decent selection of drinks and snacks. Most of them now have sub shops in them. If they do have the fresh subs. It's far better than subway. The newer style stores are very spaces with a little dine in area. Convenient bathroom areas.
